Sausage Skillet Supper

Ingredients

  • 34 pound bulk pork hot sausage
  • 1 16 ounce can unsalted pinto beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 14.5 ounce can unsalted stewed tomatoes (un-drained)
  • 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 23 cup picante sauce or salsa

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, crumble sausage.
  2. Cook until no longer pink; drain.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
