Roasted Pears with Crumble Topping

  • 4 pears (cored halved )
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 14 cup rolled oats
  • 14 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp almond slivers
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar


  1. Core and slice pears in half, place flesh side up on an ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Bush flesh side of pears with olive oil, bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes
  3. Mix the oats, pecan pieces, sliced almonds, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  4. Spread mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle honey on top, bake in the over at 350 for 5 minutes
  5. Place one pear half on a plate, while hot, spoon about a tablespoon of the nut oat crumble on top.
  6. Tip - While the pears are in the oven, make the nut oat crumble so that you can place the crumble for the remaining time Tip - Spoon the nut oat crumble on to pear halves as soon as possible, or else it may get too hard to work with.
